Introduction:

This module focuses on developing students' understanding and application of the rules of pausing (Waqf) in Quran recitation. Learners will explore how to pause correctly at Quranic stop signs and apply the proper rules when stopping on different types of words, such as those ending with alif maqsoorah, taa marbootah, or Madd ‘Iwad.

Through examples from the Quran, guided practice, and assessment activities, students will learn how to observe correct pausing, avoid adding movement to the final letter, and recognize the appropriate stopping points during recitation.

The module also emphasizes the ability to identify these rules as they appear in the Mushaf, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with practical reading skills.
